When she looked out of the window at midnight, Mrs.Wilson saw a man trying to open Mr. Smith''s window. Mrs.Wilson thought it must be a thief. She took a stick as quickly as possible, ran into the garden and hit the man on the head.
     The next morning she went to knock at Mr. Smith''s door. He opened the door and saw Mrs. Wilson standing outside. "Someone hit me when I was trying to open the window of my room. I left my key in my room, and I didn''t want to wake my wife up." Mrs.Wilson didn''t know what to say when she heard this.
